I’m Kristina Markin—the baker, mama, and heart behind HummingBird Desserts.
As a mother of three precious children, my kitchen has always been a place filled with love, little hands, sweet moments, and the comforting smell of something delicious baking in the oven. For me, baking has always been more than just making desserts. It’s a way of sharing warmth, creating memories, and bringing a little joy to the people around me.
Life has brought our family through a challenging season, and like any mother, my greatest wish is to care for my children and give them the very best I can. With that love and determination in my heart, I decided to turn something I’ve always enjoyed—baking homemade European desserts—into a small business that can help support our family.
And so, HummingBird Desserts was born. ♥
I’m beginning this journey with a small, thoughtfully chosen selection of homemade desserts, each one made with love and care. While I’m starting small, my dreams for HummingBird Desserts are much bigger. As this little business grows, I hope to bring even more of my favorite European-inspired treats to your tables, adding new desserts and sweet surprises along the way. For now, I’m simply grateful for the opportunity to begin, one dessert and one order at a time.
